Institute Post Doctoral Fellowship (IPDF) at IIT(BHU) Varanasi

The Materials Modeling Lab (MML) at IIT(BHU) Varanasi is delighted to announce openings for the Institute Post Doctoral Fellowship (IPDF) program. This fellowship provides Ph.D. holders with an opportunity to advance their research under expert mentorship.

Eligibility: Ph.D. degree (or thesis submitted), 2+ SCI/SCI-E journal publications, age ≤35 (relaxations for women and other categories).
Fellowship: Competitive stipend + ₹1,00,000 annual contingency grant.
Duration: Up to 3 years, based on performance.
Application Deadline: 28th July 2025.
Research Proposal: Applicants must submit a research proposal (max. 2000 words). For guidance in crafting a proposal aligned with our lab’s focus (e.g., computational thermodynamics, CALPHAD, or machine learning in materials), please reach out to us.
