Eligibility (Metallurgical Engineering, PhD)
As per the IIT (BHU) PG/PhD admission brochure, eligible qualifications for PhD in Metallurgical Engineering include:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Production Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Mineral Engineering / Ceramic Engineering
- Master's degree in Materials Science / Engineering / Technology
- Master's degree in Physical Sciences (Solid State Physics) / Chemical Sciences (Inorganic / Physical Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry) / Biological Sciences / Geology, with Mathematics as a subject at Bachelor's level
